Also it should be said we weren't biking hard, just tooling and enjoying the ride.īottom line Milwaukee is a great place to be on Memorial Day, the parks and neighborhoods are lovely, the people are friendly, and for the record we felt safe all day. for us this adds to the fun but it is perhaps not for everyone. We started our ride at the Humane Society Campus at 4500 West, followed the Monomonee river West to Wauwatosa then further West and eventually south along the river.
